Related to this post, with the pentatonic scale. What is interesting is the visualization feedback along with the music to communicate with the aliens. The music makes sense, but as for how the music matches the visulization in the background is questionable. As it certainly does not seem like a normal scale.
Sound is always one of those fun things to visualize.

Speaking of old stuff, spotted this quite a while ago. It’s a location-video math-up of a chase scene in what I believe to be the film Bullitt. Pretty interesting! “Good job” to the guy who managed to follow through, dispite the changes throughout time.

I think Its a great image, mostly because of its simplicity. would love to have it as a poster, but they alas dont sell it anymore… There is a 2009 version, but it looks ugly.
Telegeography does however have more interesting maps, all related to the same concept of the internet.
