The above link is a list of visualization sites which give the user the ability to import data and visualize it to what they want. Not something as awesome and engaging like this but bar charts and map-data layouts.
It seems like now there are several services out there that help with visualizing data online. And so far it seems to me that it all is a bit hyped. However it is an improvement over what services like Microsoft provides I guess. And the more the public gets to deal with data, the better. With bloggers starting to do investigative journalism (so I hear), this is the best opportunity to show that they can get some real sources.
